Sorry Asif, saying no is a crime here

Asif Mohiuddin – a young boy hardly at his 25, does not speak much but writes and his religion is freedom. Freedom of speech, writing and thinking – all these prompted him to stand by the students of Jagannath University. He made a post titled “Jagannath University and Commercialization of Education” on 28^th September here in this blog (www.unmochon.net) that made a critical analysis on state of education. Is that a crime to you? No I am not asking you. It is the state – the present state run by a democratically elected government that came into power with a promise of change, something we believed.

Well, we are all fools.

What did Asif do? Did he burn anyone’s property or created chaos or broke the law? Well he broke the law for sure and that is why he was picked up by the state police. He wrote that questioned actions of the government and government cannot take it. So that is crime. Asif was not like the “Golden Boys” who beat up their fellow students of the same university. Asif is a very bad boy.
